Olympic Elements Glitters in Sports and Leisure Apparel Zone

  Along with the approach of the 30th China SportShow, the Sports and Leisure Apparel Zone is gradually unveiling. “The biggest highlight of this zone is the Olympic elements. Some activities combined with 2012 London Olympic Games will be organized in the Chinese Olympic Committee booth and in the booths of some other exhibitors.” As ZHANG Lulu, the person in charge of the invitation work of this exhibition zone, told the press.

  Despite the fact that there are still two months to go before the opening of CSS 2012, over 160 enterprises, including Li Ning, Anta, 361°, Xtep and some other domestic sports and leisure apparel brands, have applied for exhibition booths in the Sports and Leisure Apparel Exhibition Zone. It shows an increase of 10% of exhibitors over the Show of last year. However, there isn’t any news about the Qiao Dan Company, a CSS exhibitor for many years. ZHANG Lulu told reporters that, by combining with the Olympic elements, Anta, the sponsor of Chinese Sports Delegation, 361°, the sponsor of some Chinese national teams and Olympic reporters and sponsors of the Olympic teams of some other countries will display their products at the Show. “The Chinese Olympic Committee booth is worthy to be visited, where the people can find the footmarks of the Chinese Olympic teams’ participation in the Olympic Games.” Zhang Lulu also told reports that, “many enterprises will hold their anniversary celebrations during the Show.”

  Adidas, an international brand, will continue to show its boxing, taekwondo and combat sports clothing in the Show. “Many people pay close attention to international brand displays. We always maintian good relationship with international sports brands. However, these enterprises have different promotional focus each year. For example, Adidas is accustomed to promote one of its key products only in certain period of time. So in the previous two years, the main exhibits of Adidas at the Show were combat sports clothing. It shows the importance of the CSS platform to some degree,” ZHANG Lulu said.

  Zhang also revealed that, ball games exhibitors will include Double Happiness, STIGA, DONIC and other well-known enterprises. “Their products, for example, the official balls used for European Cup and World Cup, will be on display.”

  Rising just from the Sports and Leisure Apparel Exhibition Zone, the CSS has been developed from its initial stage of meetings for placement of orders, to the present scale of a pavilion of over 10,000 square meters. The Sports and Leisure Apparel Exhibition Zone has witnessed the development course of CSS of growing out of nothing and expanding from small to big. In the past 30 years, some exhibitors have been travelling together with CSS. As a platform for brand breeding and promotion, CSS has contributed a lot to the development of the entire industry. “As the large enterprises want to promote their brands, small and medium enterprises want to display their products, and the national brands need support, CSS spares no efforts to offer its best service to the exhibitors in all areas, including invitation, publicity and exhibition booth subsidies, etc.

  Being differ from other clothing exhibitions, the Sports and Leisure Apparel Exhibition Zone gives prominence to the professional aspects of sports. “The exhibits will include apparels of boxing, taekwondo and combat sports, as well as sports protectors, bows, cross-bows, pieces of board games, etc. The swimming suits exhibition zone will have a great appeal to the visitors. Unlike other zones, this zone offers the ordinary visitors an opportunity to buy sports clothing or equipment in the last day of the Show.
