“Keep Fit and Enjoy Your Life” Features Fitness Exhibition Zone

  Differs from previous editions of CSS, there will be a separate zone for fitness equipment and rehabilitation facilities this year. As learned from Sports Equipment Administrative Center of China by our report on 15th February, the 30th China SportShow will be held in May in Beijing, at which, the Fitness Equipment and Rehabilitation Facilities Exhibition will be one of the highlights of the Show.

  Until now, 387 fitness facilities manufacturers have already registered for the exhibition and this number is still increasing. The Fitness exhibition area will reach 50,000 square meters, half of the total exhibition area. As briefed by Mr. HOU Liang, the person in charge of invitation work for the Fitness and Rehabilitation Facilities Zone, the 2012 CSS will hold a Fitness Equipment and Rehabilitation Facilities Exhibition with the theme of “Keep Fit and Enjoy Your Life”. To hold such an exhibition, it not only follows the development trend of this industry, but also shows that it is the inevitable choice in the growth of the Show in the professional way. It can effectively promote the interaction between the audience and the enterprises and improve the service for exhibitors and the quality of the exhibition.

  “Exhibition within exhibition” is a good way to show cluster effect and the function of classification and summarization. This Fitness Equipment and Rehabilitation Facilities Zone will be divided into 4 areas of the home and commercial fitness equipment, rehabilitation facilities, outdoor fitness equipment and entertainment equipment. HOU Liang said, ”JOHNSON, BH, SHU HUA, ORIENT, IMPULSE, GOOD FAMILY, WNQ and other domestic leading brands will continue to present at the exhibition. And there is an increase in the number of foreign brands, such as PRECOR, a famous American brand which will participate in this exhibition for the first time, and ADIDAS will exhibit its fitness equipment. The number of massage equipment enterprises continues to maintain its growth. Enterprises affiliated to the Outdoor Fitness Equipment Union will continue to present themselves at exhibition collectively. In addition to that, many companies will hold new-product-launching briefings during the exhibition, at which, their new, high-tech products will be presented to the public. Hou Liang added, “Family fitness has drawn more and more public attention. However, this year, home and commercial fitness equipment will still share the same exhibition area. We are trying to exhibit home and commercial fitness equipment separately. There is no financial problem for some large enterprises, as they have both home and commercial fitness products. What we did in the past several years is to limit the exhibition area of some big enterprises. One the other hand, we are trying to get together the small, pure commercial fitness equipment brands and infuse them with such a concept. At present, it is not ideal to separate them into two, as we have the problem of planning and financial cost.”

  Although the concept of “exhibition within exhibition” has been put forward long ago, more attempts will be made in this Fitness Equipment and Rehabilitation Facilities exhibition. For example, dedicated booths will be set up in the exhibition zone, which will be fixed by an integrated structure and color. They will be carried in internal magazines or brochures. “For the development of the industry, the Annual White Paper of the fitness equipment industry will be released during the Show”, HOU Liang said. “We will continue to strengthen our efforts in inviting foreign audience for meeting needs of the enterprises. At present, the domestic fitness equipment manufacturers mainly depend on export-oriented market. Due to the European debt crisis and high unemployment rate, fitness has become the best way for people to release their pressure. In addition, E-commerce has become one of the important channels for fitness equipment manufacturers. This year, we shall step up our efforts to invite more audience in this area."
