Various channels for inviting overseas audience and developing new audience

  The overseas audience is invited through various kinds of channels. It is expected that around 6000-7000 overseas audiences from 96 countries and regions will attend 2013 China Sport Show. Ms. Zhang Mei gave a detailed account of the recruitment of oversea audiences and the service to be provided for the new customers.

  The overseas audiences can be invited through four channels: the high-quality clients; audience invited through the overseas associations; foreign embassies in China and Chinese embassies abroad; and exhibitions abroad. Zhang Mei introduced.

  The high-quality clients come from the sporting goods or manufacturers associations in various countries. At the annual meeting or other activities organized by the World Sporting Goods Association, the China Sporting Goods Industry Association can get acquainted with those sporting goods or manufacturers associations. Gradually, they will become the high-quality clients of the China SportsShow. "High-quality clients are the wealth of the SportShow, who have accompanied us all the way to today, and have witnessed the process of the development of the SportShow. Growing up with the show, they are the great audience recourses established in the last three decades and of a great value. They will be provided with the VIP audience service." Zhang Mei said.

  The overseas audience can also be recruited through our cooperation with overseas associations. Advertisements of the China SportShow can be published on the publications of the World Sporting Goods Association, and on the websites of the associations in those countries who have a relationship with us, including USA, India, Middle East, Asia, and Europe, or of the enterprises who are willing to have business relations with us.

  The overseas audiences can be invited through the foreign embassies in China or through the commercial sections of the Chinese embassies in foreign countries. We maintain a good relationship with them and ask them to publish the articles relating to the China Sport Show on their website, or invite them to participate in the regular activities organized by us for exchanging information on bilateral trade and commence. We also invite them to the Sport Show and provide them with the VIP service.

  We also take the opportunity of the sports goods shows of the foreign countries to recruit overseas audience, for example, the Germany Outdoor Exhibition, the Fitness Equipment Show, the Bike Trade Show, and the Japan Marathon Show. Through participating in these shows, it can help us to establish a good relationship with more enterprises and association of the industry, to promote the China Sport Show more directly to the opponent, and get acquainted with more people who are willing to conduct business with China.

  " Exploration of the new overseas clients for the China Sport Show can be done by internet searching, mass-mailing, and through the official web of China Sport Show (in English)”, Zhang Mei said. The new clients can be developed through the internet, with the basic information of the Sport Show published on the Sport Show’s searching website. At present, we have established a cooperative relationship with 30 exhibition searching websites in the world, most of them are from United States, Europe, Germany, and Australia. The contents of cooperation may include website links exchange and priority for advertisement search. The new clients can also be developed via mass-mailing. The recipients of the mail should be our targeted clients.

  Usually, their information is obtained from other shows, or from the publications of these shows. The official website of the China Sport Show (in English) will be one of the channels for recruiting overseas audiences. As the website is designed to meet the needs of the broad audience and the exhibitors, the potential clients can easily find the data needed by them.

  Zhang Mei revealed that, all-in-one service will be provided to the overseas VIP audiences, including free accommodation, shuttle bus, and portable kit. Besides, they will be invited to participate in forums, welcome party and some other activities hosted by the organizing committee. At these parties, they will have a chance to meet the exhibitors at a short distance.
