Peloton To Offer Refurbished Bikes

Peloton Interactive, Inc. has launched a new program, Peloton Certified Refurbished, selling refurbished bikes in the U.S. and Canada at a discount of up to $500 over a new bike.

Through the program, consumers can purchase a refurbished Peloton Bike for $1,145 or a refurbished Peloton Bike+ for $1,995. Both models include shipping & delivery and the Peloton’s 12-month warranty similar to what the company offers on selling a new bike. Buyers also have access to join Peloton’s All Access Membership plan.

“We are excited to offer refurbished Peloton bikes at these new price points, opening the engaging Peloton experience to even more members,” said Amanda Shulman, vice president, Emerging Business & Strategic Partnerships. “All pre-owned bikes have been refurbished and checked to meet our rigorous quality standards, and our new program allows us to find these bikes a second home.”

A refurbished Peloton Bike will sell at a $300 discount over a new bike or a refurbished Peloton Bike+ at a $500 discount off the sticker price.

Peloton is not offering its treadmills or rowing machines in the program refurbishment, which follows the roll out of its national rental program in the U.S. in September, giving consumers a month-to-month option on its Peloton Bike and Bike+ models.
