Five measures to make it easier for foreigners to come to China

On the morning of January 11, the State Administration of Immigration held a press conference on five measures to facilitate foreign personnel to come to China. From now on (January 11), the State Administration of Immigration officially implemented five measures to facilitate foreign personnel to come to China to provide more convenient entry and exit services for overseas visitors who come to China for business.

Among the most important initiatives:

First, relax the visa application conditions for foreigners coming to China. Foreign nationals who urgently need to come to China for non-diplomatic or official activities, such as business cooperation, visits and exchanges, investment and entrepreneurship, visiting relatives and handling personal affairs, and who are unable to obtain visas abroad in time, may apply to the port visa authority for port entry visas on the strength of relevant documents such as invitation letters.

Second, foreigners are exempted from inspection procedures at Beijing Capital Airport and other hub airport ports 24 hours a day. At Beijing Capital, Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Xiamen Gaoqi, Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen Bao 'an, Chengdu Tianfu and Xi'an Xianyang 9 international airports, 24-hour direct transit passengers are exempted from border inspection procedures. For the entry and exit passengers who hold international connecting tickets within 24 hours and transit to a third country or region via any of the above airports, they can be exempted from border inspection procedures and transit directly without visas.

In addition, the measures also include that foreigners in China can apply for visa extension renewal nearby; foreigners in China can apply for re-entry visas if they need to enter and leave China for many times; and simplify visa application materials for foreigners in China. The five measures are undoubtedly a major positive for overseas audiences to come to China Sport Show 2024.

China Sport Show 2024 will be held in Chengdu West Expo City, Sichuan Province from May 23 to 26.
