From May 21 to 24, CHINA SPORT SHOW 2026 concluded successfully in Xiamen, Fujian Province. This year's exhibition covered a total area of over 200,000 square meters, bringing together more than 2,000 exhibitors from home and abroad. The event welcomed over 170,000 visitors, including 5,700 overseas visitors. The Asia Pacific Fitness & Wellness Section spanned 130,000 square meters, gathering 1,100 exhibitors, with the commercial fitness segment undergoing a renewed upgrade and becoming the centrepiece of the show.

As reflected in the exhibition's outcomes, the commercial fitness industry is moving away from the traditional single-mode manufacturing model. Driven by smart technologies and evolving market demands, it is presenting a diversified new landscape characterized by intelligence, segmentation, and globalization.

intelligentize: AI is fundamentally reshaping product cores. Impulse has launched its AI large-model scientific health platform, encompassing core functions such as smart body assessment, scientific prescription, and fitness planning. SHUA Sports reported a 160% year-on-year increase in smart product shipments in the first quarter of 2026, and a 67.37% year-on-year increase in overseas business sales. Leading brands such as Yijian and Visbody have entered into in-depth collaborations with Doubao and DeepSeek, leveraging AI and computing power to deliver personalized training recommendations and real-time movement correction. The commercial fitness industry is now entering a brand new era driven by AI and computing power.

Segmentation: Precise scenario-based layouts meet diverse needs. Johnson Health Tech has arranged its products by different usage scenarios, simultaneously launching complete equipment sets suitable for small-scale stores of 300–500 square meters and large venues of 3,000–5,000 square meters. The fitness user base is becoming more professional, with a growing number of users shifting from primarily cardio training to strength-training-focused users—pushing the industry to break free from homogenized competition. BodyLonger and Livepro are among the brands deepening their focus on refined strength equipment, continuously raising the level of intelligent and customized fitness accessories.

Globalization: From manufacturing exports to brand expansion overseas. This year's Fitness Industry Exchange Conference at CHINA SPORT SHOW 2026, themed “From Asia Manufacturing to Global Brands — The Deep-Sea Voyage of the Fitness Industry,” addressed the development needs of Chinese fitness enterprises accelerating their overseas expansion and exploring international markets. SHUA Sports achieved a 67.37% year-on-year increase in overseas business sales in the first quarter of 2026. Impulse continues to deepen its presence in the commercial fitness sector, seizing opportunities presented by new business formats such as AI-powered smart venues, and developing an integrated smart fitness solution encompassing “equipment + terminal + AI + service,” with globalization momentum continuing to gain strength.

May 13–16,2027, CHINA SPORT SHOW 2027 will open at the Western China International Expo City in Chengdu. We sincerely invite global fitness industry professionals to gather in Chengdu and join hands in exploring a new chapter of smart fitness and globalization!
