From May 21st to 24th, CHINA SPORT SHOW 2026 was successfully held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. This year's show reached new heights in overall scale and internationalization. The Sports Venue Craftsmanship & Equipment Section focused on the theme of "Green, Low-Carbon and Circular Economy" becoming a focal point of the entire event.
At this year's show, VIVATURF, acquired by China Resources Recycling Group, a centrally administered state-owned enterprise, exhibited a high-performance recyclable infill-free artificial turf. This product innovatively uses a glue-free integrated molding process, preventing chemical pollution at the source. Old turf replaced during venue renovation requires no complex sorting and can be directly processed through physical crushing and high-temperature mixing and granulation for 100% recycling and reuse. Zhang Yan, General Manager of VIVATURF stated that leveraging the resource and technological advantages of the state-owned platform, the company has established a full industry chain closed loop covering green fiber processing, eco-friendly sports product manufacturing, and waste product recycling.
On the first day of the show, Su Bingtian, track and field star and brand ambassador for Jrace Sports, appeared at the booth to discuss topics like green innovation in competition-level tracks. Adhering to the concept of "Competition Standards + Green Benefits for the People," Jrace Sports’ prefabricated track was successfully implemented in the upgrade and renovation project of the Guangdong Provincial People's Stadium. Its indicators all meet international competition standards. Since opening to the public, it serves over 10,000 people daily for fitness and exercise.
Although the Xiamen event has concluded, the green journey is in full swing. Looking ahead, CHINA SPORT SHOW 2027 will be held from May 13th to 16th, 2027, at the Western China International Expo City. We sincerely invite colleagues from the global sports industry to gather again in Chengdu to jointly promote the green and high-quality development of sports infrastructure and build a low-carbon, eco-friendly new sports ecosystem.
