CHINA SPORT SHOW 2026 Concludes Successfully丨Industry Reports Outline New Landscapes for the Outdoor Sectors

On May 24, CHINA SPORT SHOW 2026 came to a successful conclusion at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. This year's edition covered an exhibition area of over 200,000 square meters, bringing together more than 2,000 domestic and overseas exhibitors, and attracting over 170,000 visits in total. During the Show, the 5th China Sports Space Conference, themed "Scene Reconstruction, Consumption Renewal — Building a New Ecosystem for Sports Consumption Growth," released two major industry reports, providing authoritative guidance for the high-quality development of the sector.

The 2025 China Outdoor Products Market Research Report, released by the Outdoor Industry Committee of the China Sporting Goods Federation (CSGF), points out that the outdoor products market is bidding farewell to the "rapid growth period" and entering a stage of steady and rational growth. The consumption logic is returning from the irrational prosperity driven by "emotional consumption" to high-quality development centered on real demand and professional value. The core demographic for outdoor events has shifted from 46–55 years old to 36–45 years old, with over 80% of participants holding a bachelor's degree or above. Outdoor footwear, trail running-related categories, and trekking backpacks are high-growth segments, while camping equipment, fishing, and other sub-sectors are under notable pressure.

Though the Xiamen event has drawn to a close, the momentum for industrial upgrading continues unabated. In 2027, CHINA SPORT SHOW 2027 will be held from May 13 to 16 at the Western China International Expo City.
