【Domestic Information】National Sport Facility Standards Collection Published in Beijing

　　On May 25th, the press conference about National Sport Facility Standards Collection and National Standards of Athletic Venues hosted by Sports Facilities Construction and Standard Office of General Administration of Sport of China, National Technical Committee on Sporting Goods of Standardization Administration of China, and China National Sports Group was held in China International Exhibition Center. Mr. Chen Entang, Deputy Director General of Finance Department of General Administration of Sport of China, Mr. Liu Guopu, Vice-president of China Standard Press, and Mr. Wang Changlin, Director of National Standard Examination Department of China Standardization Administration Committee, made speeches at the conference. Mr. Zhang Lizeng, Director of Sports Facilities Construction and Standard Office of General Administration of Sport of China, Mr. Peng Liye, Director of Facility Sub-committee of National Technical Committee on Sporting Goods of Standardization Administration of China, and other representatives from some administrative centers of General Administration of Sport of China were present at the conference.

　　With the rapid development of Chinese sports facility construction and facility manufacture industry, sport standards have played an important role in sport venues construction, sport facility safety, and the healthy development of sport industry. National Sport Facility Standards Collection co-edited by Sports Facilities Construction and Standard Office of General Administration of Sport of China, National Technical Committee on Sporting Goods of Standardization Administration of China, and China National Sports Group was officially published. This book systematically summarized the experiences of editing Chinese sport facility standards, presented the contents of Chinese sport facility standard system, and included 17 Chinese sport facility standards and 10 industrial standards, so it would provide references for the design, construction and examination of sport facilities.

　　Mr. Chen Entang said that sport events and national fitness activities put forward requests for the quality of the sport venues, so it was necessary that sport facility construction standard should be co-ordinated internationally. National Sport Facility Standards Collection would play an important role in the implementation and promotion of sport facility standards and the progress of sport facility standards. He suggested that Facility Sub-committee of National Technical Committee on Sporting Goods of Standardization Administration of China should carry out the editing of sport facility standards and make those standards be in the service of Chinese sports power construction strategy.

　　Mr. Liu Guopu said that National Sport Facility Standards Collection would be published and provide convenience for readers. It was the epitome of the sport facility standard history, so it was very precious. China Standard Press would continue to serve the overall situations, co-operate closely with National Technical Committee on Sporting Goods of Standardization Administration of China, plan more unique programs, and publish more works with market competitive advantages, in order to promote the culture of quality inspection and the development of sport industry.

　　Mr. Wang Changlin said that it was good to publish National Sport Facility Standards Collection and revise sport facility standards. The related bodies should prepare well to make sport facility standard researches, make promotion work and take all feedback.

　　Mr. Peng Liye said that National Sport Facility Standards Collection would help to promote sport facility standards. The promotion and implementation of the standards would meet the demands of the masses for the improvement of sport life and the variety of sport facilities.

　　At the conference, Mr. Cai Yong, Director of Development Management Department of Athletics Administrative Center of General Administration of Sport of China, Mr. Guo Long, member of Rubber Groceries Sub-committee of National Technical Committee on Rubber and Rubber Products of Standardization Administration of China, and Mr. Liu Haipeng, Secretary-General of Facility Sub-committee of National Technical Committee on Sporting Goods of Standardization Administration of China, were also invited to make speeches about the inspection of athletic venues, the ground synthetic materials of athletic venues, and sport facility standards and safety.
