【Domestic Information】 China Jan-April Sporting Goods Export Maintains Robust Growth in 2012

  In Jan-April of 2012, China sporting goods export to USA reaches $1.19 billion, increasing 12.5%; China sporting goods export to EU reaches $0.9 billion, increasing 12.5%; these export to USA and EU accounts for 63.9% of Chinese whole sporting goods export. At the same time, sporting goods export to Hong Kong increases 20.9% to $220 million; sporting goods export to Japan increases 28.6% to $150 million.

  In Jan-April of 2012, Guangdong sporting goods export increases 12% to $1.22 billion, accounting for 37.3% of Chinese whole sporting goods export. Fujian increases 16.5% to $540 million, accounting for 16.5%; Zhejiang increases 15.8% to $360 million, accounting for 11%; Jiangsu increases 24.2% to $310 million, accounting for 9.5%; Shanghai decreases 5% to $300 million, accounting for 9.2%; Shandong increases 3.6% to $130 million, accounting for 4%.

  In Jan-April of 2012, China sporting goods export through general trade increases 20.5% to $1.49 billion, accounting for 45.6% of Chinese whole sporting goods export. China sporting goods export through processing trade increases 7.1% to $1.39 billion, accounting for 42.5% of Chinese whole sporting goods export, among which foreign-invested enterprises export accounts for over 60%. Foreign-invested enterprises’ sporting goods export increases 11.5% to $2.02 billion, accounting for 61.8% of Chinese whole sporting goods export; private enterprises increases 25.4% to $1 billion, accounting for 30.6%; State-owned enterprises increases 4.8% to $200 million, accounting for 6.1%.
