China SportShow 2012 will be held on May 17th to 20th in the new China International Exhibition Center. The invitation work is under way intensively and in an orderly manner. According to the briefing released by Ms. SUN Li, the person in charge of the invitation and exhibition work in the Badminton and Tennis Exhibition Area, the quota of recruitment of the exhibitors for this area is now full. With over 100 enterprises participating in the exhibition, there will be an increase in the number of exhibitors over the last year.
Ms. Sun li also said, “We shall lay emphasis on the professional quality of the exhibition zone, and focus on public participation and experience. China has nearly 200 million fans, so badminton has a solid foundation among the broad masses in China. Inspired by the excellent performance of the Chinese women tennis players at the world arena, more and more Chinese youth now go in for tennis. As there are more people who are fond of badminton and tennis, the awareness of the badminton and tennis brands has been promoted to a great extent among the Chinese people, thus creating a situation that the badminton and tennis equipment brands are dominating the sports goods industry, and a tendency that more OEM enterprises are grouping together. Therefore, the visitors would like to see more professional and new elements in the exhibition.”
The exhibition zone allocated a large area for exhibition of sports facilities, and an area for sports accessories, like badminton racket strings, etc. Among the exhibitors, there will be some world-famous brand enterprises, such as Mizuno, and domestic enterprises, such as Youchang, a company in Guangdong province. Badminton equipment area will take up 70% of the exhibition zone. Ms. Sun further said, “many OEMs will participate in the exhibition. They have already created cluster effect in some region such as Dongguan City of Guangdong Province and Fuyang City of Zhejiang Province. As they are limited in scale, productivity and capability of scientific research, many badminton equipment manufacturers in China need the platform of CSS to display their professional techniques in manufacturing. In the future, we shall set up a special zone for supporting these enterprises,.”
In order to meet the needs of audience, we have developed quite a few interactive activities in the Badminton-Tennis Exhibition Zone. The ‘Tryout’ of the badminton brand equipment, one of the repertoire of the exhibition, will be retained. The highlight of this Show is the participation of the Korean amateur teams in the ‘Tryout’. For activating the atmosphere of the exhibition zone, we have developed a treasure- hunting game. The specially-designed route will guide the attendees to visit the exhibitors at all corners of the zone. Ms. SUN Li told reporters that, promotion of badminton and tennis culture will be the highlight in the exhibition zone. The audience will have the chance to see the video programs on the history of badminton and tennis, as well as physical trophies and medals. It will help to enrich the people’s understanding of these two sports.
At the request of the participating exhibitors, the Organizing Committee will focus on channel expansion and brands promotion of the service enterprises when inviting visitors for the badminton and tennis zone. “For the benefit of the small and medium enterprises, we will try our best to invite more distributors, coordinate the activities of some Badminton Associations, so that the brands of these enterprises could be promoted to the full”, SUN added.
