　　Number of Exhibitors and Exhibition Area of Sports Facilities Zone Maintain a Steady Growth

　　GUO Chao firstly introduced herself that she was the person in charge of invitation work of the Sports Facilities Zone, then she briefed on the planning of the exhibition of this Zone. She said, “Hall W1, on the left side of the entrance, will be Sports Facilities Zone, covering an area of 12,000 square meters. In accordance with the categories of products, the exhibition will be divided into the following parts: the area for exhibitors of comprehensive exhibits, including JIN LING, GONG CHUANG, etc.; the area for runway, artificial turfs and other ground facilities; the area for timing and scoring system; and the area for basketball stands, maintenance and other sports facilities. As of yesterday, 127 companies have registered for the exhibition, with a floor space of 6,311 square meters, leaving little space for would-be exhibitors. The bare ground takes up 5,000 square metes. Comparing with the figures of last year, it shows a steady growth in the number of exhibitors and exhibition area. There were 113 exhibitors in 2010 and 132 in 2011. But by now, with two months to go before the official opening of the exhibition, the number of exhibitor has reached 127, proving that there are still a huge space for development in this industry.

　　Theme of Exhibition is Environment Protection, Safety and Innovation

　　Unlike previous editions, this year’s exhibition has selected three main themes: “Environment Protection, Safety, and Innovation”. We hope that these new ideas could be further advocated and promoted by the participating exhibitors. For protecting the environment, attention should be paid to the raw material and coatings used for constructing sports facilities, as some chemical ingredients might be added in the process, making some of the products containing toxic substance. To protect environment, we should guarantee that no poisonous substances be released in the use of these sports facilities. The term of safety means the safety in utilization. As most of the products of this exhibition will be used in school, the direct users will be students and teenagers. The norm formulated by the state is only for competition, while most of products lack of prominent safety labels. Innovation is to encourage enterprises to use high-tech materials and testing methods when constructing sports facilities.
