Qi Yulin: More Interaction in China Sport Show, a Great Challenge For Outdoor Sports

　　2014 China Sport Show will be held on May 9-12 in Wuhan. Mr. Qi Yulin, Director of the Outdoor Sports, Roller Skating and Bicycle Zone, introduced the latest progress and highlights in an interview.

　　At this May, the 31st Edition of China Sport Show was successfully held in China International Exhibition Center (New) in Beijing. Reviewing the general situation of this year, Mr. Qi Yulin expressed his satisfaction, “It might be the best one since I began my career in this industry. It is the largest in scale, received the best feedbacks from the enterprises, and it made me feel the most comfortable in overall management.”

　　It’s known that, 271 enterprises applied their registrations for the W2 Hall this year, due to the limit of the capacity, only 201 enterprises exhibited finally. Among the exhibiting enterprises, 76 were for outdoor sports, 90 for roller skating, 44 for massage and fitness equipment and 1 for stadium construction. “The distribution was almost the same as the previous years. Generally speaking, most of the enterprises came from Zhejiang, Guangdong, Beijing, Hebei and Fujian. Nearly 4800 square meters were sold for exhibiting and the usage rate was close to 50%. According to the data from the recent years, this year reached the peak. The situation for standard and open space booths were also improving” he introduced.

　　Talking about the highlights of the Sport Show, Qi commented “We have almost achieved the targets, and more interactions were introduced with sounds and actions. Audiences gathered at the Scientific and Outdoor Experience Zone, Airbed Mini-Football, Green and Low-Carbon Bicycle Experience Zone. This really effected better.”

　　Though 2013 China Sport Show has just closed its curtain, the preparations for 2014 have already launched. Qi revealed, “Till now, 72 enterprises have applied in my section, most of which are for open space booth. It is estimated from my experience that the exhibiting area will reach 4800-5000 square meters for 2014. This number, under the present economy depression situation, fully indicates that China Sport Show has set up its benchmarking in the industry.”

　　Next year, China Sport Show will be moved to Wuhan, Hubei Province. Qi committed that no matter where the Show to be held, they will adhere to their aim and provide the best services to the exhibitors. “In view of the National Fitness and Sport-for-All, my section is the most cohesive one and audiences are more interested in participate in the interaction. We will introduce more interactions and experiences, let the exhibitors and audiences take what they really needs.”

　　With certain, Qi did not evade some problems met at present. “Though the name of my section is the Outdoor Sports, Roller Skating and Bicycle Zone, frankly speaking, most of the exhibitors are from roller skating. Bicycle and outdoor sports still face some pressures. We will try our best, open this platform and provide support to the enterprises of bicycle and outdoor sports as always.”
